Salam Merdeka buat penduduk bumi di Tanah Melayu pada zaman 1957.

Macam biasa, hari keramaian adalah hari dimana aku lebih selesa untuk memerukkan diri dalam rumah. Atau spesifiknya bilik! Sejak balik Miri tempoh hari, aku dapat rasakan yang fizikal aku dah mula menolak unsur sosial dan keramaian....kenapa oh kenapa duhai diri? Aku bertanya tanpa henti....

"Outside hurt, inside safe..." kata dia
Aku pelik.

"Things gonna change..." sambung dia lagi
Aku kelu.

Kenapa?

Entah.

Journal dibilang jumlahnya hampir ke angka 21. Alaf-21 sudah hampir ke penghujungkah? 
Entah.

Merdeka sale sedang gila.
Duit dicongak terherot mulut membilang.
Bukan tidak cukup, tapi tiada berkah.
Mungkin itu sebab duit menjadi cecair kala membeli belah

Helaan berat membatukkan sesak di fikiran.

Kata dia mahu bersenang tanpa perlu keluar dari hijab wakanda.
Hijab yang direka untuk mengasingkan anasir jahiliah yang semakin gagah menyerang.
Paling tidak hijab wakanda dapat melumpuhkan segala ideologi yang tidak mampu lagi untuk ditapis.

Awalnya nak menaip dengan nada ceria (acah ceria walau takdelah seceria yang disangka, at least orang baca takdelah hambar...) tapi, itulah...bila otak dah merencana yang dia tak mahu ceria, emosi pun tak dapat menidakkan fakta palsu yang disalurkan oleh neuron.
